We had the most incredible view from La Casa Amarilla. Being situated on the hillside of Baños, we were able to overlook the entire city and it was truly breathtaking. The location was perfect for hikers like us, and we even had easy access to a starting point for a hike up the mountain. The coffee at the hotel was excellent, and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for nature lovers and hikers looking for a peaceful retreat.

We had an amazing time at this hidden gem! the views from the rooms and common areas were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. the family who runs the place made us feel like we were at home, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. We loved that the location was away from the hustle and bustle of the city, giving us a truly authentic experience. the breakfast served every morning was made with fresh, local ingredients and was absolutely delicious.
Getting to the hotel was quite a challenge as it involved a steep hike. We highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes and packing light.

This hotel offers an isolated getaway experience, away from the hustle and bustle of the city near a waterfall. the hike up to the hotel is steep but worth it, as it provides guests with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. the room has a rustic feel, and the breakfast is fantastic with freshly brewed coffee. the hammocks provide a comfortable outdoor bed to relax in with mandatory sunbath.
The availability of transport could be limited, and it may be difficult for people with mobility issues to get up to the hotel.

Spending Christmas at this cozy accommodation was a great decision! The breathtaking views of the mountains and the city are what I loved the most. , the friendly staff made me feel at home, always helpful and attentive to every need. the breakfast included an array of delicious homemade pastries that were impossible to resist.
The hike to reach the hotel might be challenging for some guests, especially during the hot summer or for those with heavy luggage. The unpaved path requires some effort, but it's manageable with comfortable shoes and a bit of patience.
